OSHA Adjusts Penalties in 2019

The U.S. Department of Labor increased maximum fines by 2.5% for 2019 which includes penalties assessed by OSHA and MSHA.

OSHA Civil Penalties
OSHA's civil penalty amounts for violations of workplace safety and health standards have been increased to adjust for inflation. The adjusted penalty amounts took effect on January 23rd, according to the Federal Register.
Penalties
For willful and repeat violations will be $132.598
Serious, other-than-serious, and posting requirements are now $13,260
Failure to abate violations are $13,260 per day beyond the abatement date
